A few months ago I found a 1964 Corvair Monza for sale that had been converted to electric. The car was advertised as mostly complete - but needed “finishing touches” (including, possibly, a whole new battery pack). Being an electric car driver and a fan of the Chevrolet Corvair I was interested.

I talked with the seller, who sent me more detail about the conversion and photos of the car and it all looked pretty good.

Long story short, I’m stupid so I bought it.
